The eight Health Sciences programs of Wallace Community College exist to ensure the Wiregrass and surrounding areas are staffed with quality employees who are competent in their specialized fields. Just think, whether it’s the Paramedic responding to your emergency, the ER nurse receiving you as a patient at a local hospital, the surgical technologist in your surgery suite, the radiologic technician preparing your x-rays, the nurse and respiratory therapist caring for you in intensive care or on a general hospital unit, the physical therapist assistant helping you rehab after discharge or the medical assistant at your follow-up physician’s office, chances are they prepared for their profession at Wallace! Your contribution will help us provide the most up-to-date equipment for these programs to utilize in their training and assist the more than 800 program students with financial backing to achieve their goals.
